This privacy policy applies to all persons using the mobile application MySifu (hereinafter referred to as “the Platform”) operated by MSF ZEN SDN. BHD. (Company No. 1326191-V) (“we” or “us”) as well as all other persons connected to the use of the services or related services offered by the Platform. This privacy policy explains the type of data we collect and how we collect the data, the purposes of processing such data, the parties we disclose the data to and your rights relating to your personal data provided to us.

Notwithstanding the need on certain occasions where we request for your manual confirmation, by using this Platform and the features herein, you hereby agree and accept that you are providing your personal data to us voluntary and you are bound by the terms and conditions contained in this privacy policy.

We may from time to time require your personal information to be submitted for you to gain access to information and services offered through the Platform.

    • To generate agreements, contracts or other documents and incorporate details into documents (if necessary).
    • To keep you and/or related parties personally updated and informed through notices, letters and other documents and forms of communication.
    • To perform all other obligations as a service provider whether present or future;

Apart from the abovementioned purposes, we will not process or share your personal information without your consent.

We will collect your personal information from a variety of sources including those mentioned below:

    1. When you email or contact us with regards to any of your queries;
    2. When you register or sign up for a newsletter, make a purchase or participate in any of our promotions, sweepstakes and/or contests.
    3. When you browse or use the Platform and/or use any of our services.

    5. When managing or transacting your accounts and when making payments.
    6. When you take part in surveys, promotions, and advertisements on the Platform or during our other events etc.

    1. Credit reporting agencies and publicly available sources such as searches at government authorities or agencies.
    2. Any other sources which has your consent to disclose your information
    3. Other sources where permitted by law or not otherwise restricted.

When you provide personal information related to third parties to us, such as your next of kin or nominees, you confirm that you have obtained their consent to do so and we are authorized to use or disclose such information. You will inform such third parties of their right to access their information held by us.

It may be mandatory or optional for you to supply your personal information to us, depending on situations.

  3. payment services providers we have chosen to support us with financial transactions relating to the Platform.
  4. other external professionals providing services to us or on your behalf such as auditors, solicitors and advocates, trustees, valuers, tax consultants, banks, financial institutions and accountants;
  5. liquidators/ receivers and managers, auctioneers;
  6. prospective buyer(s) and/or dealer(s) of any of our business or assets;
  7. credit reporting agencies, debt collection agencies, regulatory authorities, police, officers and/or public authorities;
  8. any person(s) as required by any applicable laws, rules, regulations, court orders or guidelines;
  9. any of our assignees or transferees of our rights, interests or obligations; and
  10. any other person as required and authorized by us to run our day to day operations of the business and services offered vide the Platform.

Save for the relevant parties stated above, we will not otherwise disclose your personal information without your consent.

8. Security of Personal Information

We do our very best to use reasonable organizational, technical and administrative measures to protect your personal data under our control. However, kindly note that not all data transmission over the internet or data storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

Subject to the provisions of this privacy policy, if you have reasons to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure (for example, if you feel that the security of any account you might have with us has been compromised), please immediately notify us of the problem by contacting us by using the “Contact Us” function on the Platform, our officers will get in touch with you as soon as reasonably possible.

You agree and consent that we may from time to time set up cookies on your device, and may access to those cookies. We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to tract the activity on the Platform. You may change the setting on your device to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some features on the Platform.

Any information so collected by us will be non-personal and anonymous and such information is obtained solely to understand your use of the Platform.

10. Your Right to Complain and Access Your Information

  1. our right to refuse your request as allowed under the PDPA; and
  2. your payment of charges imposed by us for processing the above mentioned request(s) made by you. It shall be your responsibility to update and check the accuracy of your personal information in your personal information.

11. Limiting Information Processing

You have the option of withdrawing your consent or limiting or preventing distribution or processing of your personal information, or personal information relating to other persons or entities who may be identified from your personal data, by e-mailing our customer support at [email protected] or by using the “Contact Us” function on the Platform.

12. Changes to Privacy Policy

Please note that this privacy policy may be amended from time to time at our own discretion and it is your responsibility to visit the Platform on a regular basis to keep yourself informed of updates and changes. By continuing to use the Platform and the services provided therein or by omitting to withdraw your consent, you are deemed to have accepted and consented to any such revision and update.

13. English version shall prevail

This Privacy policy is issued in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. In the event of any inconsistencies or discrepancies between the English version and the Bahasa Malaysia version, the English version shall prevail.
